PAINT FOR FORMING MULTI COLOR PATTERN, PRODUCTION OF PAINT FOR FORMING MULTICOLOR PATTERN AND COATING FILM HAVING MULTICOLOR PATTERN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject paint containing a water base dispernt and particles derived from a specific solvent base paint, having high dispersion stability of the particles and giving a coating film having good texture. ;SOLUTION: This coating material contains (A) a water-based dispersing medium and (B) particles of solvent-based coating materials having two or more colors and dispersed in the component A. The component B contains (i) a film-forming resin, (ii) an organic solvent, (iii) a colorant and (iv) balloons. Preferably, the component B has a specific gravity higher than that of the component A, the specific gravity difference between the component A and the component B is ≥0.15, the content of nonvolatile component is 50.0-70.0wt.% and the component (iv) is balloons free from liquid-impregnating property. The coating material is preferably produced by preparing the component B containing the component (i) to the component (iv) and dispersing the component B in the component A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
