PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a container main body storing a sample from a sample rack easily when the frozen sample is to be inspected again, by providing a plurality of projecting parts at side face parts of the container body and forming a gap between the sample rack and the container body. ;SOLUTION: A plurality of projecting parts 16... are formed at side parts of a container body 43a storing a sample. A gap 15 is thus obtained by the projecting parts 16 between the body 43a and a sample rack 33 for freezing and storing samples. A contact area between the body 43a and sample rack 33 is reduced. Even when the sample container is frozen and stored for a long time in a freezer, the body 43a never freezes to the sample rack 33. Therefore, if a frozen sample is to be inspected again, the body 43a can be taken out easily from the sample rack 33.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
