PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shake correction device precisely detecting the positional data of an optical element for correcting an optical axis and a camera shake correction device with a lens barrel obtained by attaching a lens barrel to the camera shake correction device. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with an optical element for correcting an optical axis 25 supported at the front part of a main lens system 22 so that it can be moved in a direction orthogonally crossed to the optical axis of the lens system 22 and position sensors 28 and 29 consisting of light emission parts 28a and 29a and light receiving parts 28b and 29b and detecting the positional component of the element 25. The light receiving parts 28b and 29b of the sensors 28 and 29 are disposed on a more object side than the light emission parts 28a and 29b thereof and surrounded by light shielding members 28c and 29c. Then, the element 35 is driven based on signals from the sensors 28 and 29 so as to correct camera shake.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
