PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to utilize on hand a fire escape rope for daily uses good in appearance and to immediately apply the rope to original fire escape purpose in an emergency. ;SOLUTION: One sheltering rope 2 is braided into a cushion with a specified shape by a widely known knitting method used for knitting with a knitting needle or a crochet hook. The last chain stitch 3 is drawn longer to array two yarns, which are inserted into a braided stitch to be stopped and a knot 4 is provided at the end part of the rope end 5 at the last chain stitch. A product obtained is used daily as a cushion of a chair or a wall hanging cushion. At an emergency, the cushion on hand is taken up and the knot 4 part is pulled. Thus, the part of the last chain stitch 3 passed through the braided stitch is pulled out and the braided stitch is released sequentially to make one long rope.
