PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire the address name of a retrieval object and obtain desired information by displaying clickable selection items on a display part and acquiring address names in order from the top rank to the bottom rank. ;SOLUTION: A desired field is clicked and selected out of items of an address name input field displayed on the display part 500. Then the outline map corresponding to the selected input item is retrieved from an outline map data base 700 and displayed. Further, area selection items are displayed and information on an area name to be retrieved is specified. A control part 300 converts the selected area name into an address name list by retrieval from an address name group list 800. This list is displayed on the display part 500 and an address name is selected and stored in a work memory 600. This is repeated up to the address name of the bottom rank and addresses of the top rank 1 the bottom rank stored in the work memory 600 are merged.
