PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cracking apparatus of high boiling point oil in the pyrolysis product of a waste plastic capable of selectively cracking high boiling point oil to low molecular weight compounds so as to prevent the reduction of collection rate of medium boiling point oil and troubles of pipe clogging caused by installing a catalyst layer. ;SOLUTION: This cracking apparatus for high boiling point oil in the pyrolysis product of waste plastic has a catalyst 4 cracking condensed high boiling pt. oil into medium boiling pt. oil in the condenser chamber 3 condensing high boiling pt. component of the gaseous pyrolyzed oil come from the pyrolizer vessel 1. The catalysts are selected from among zeolite, silica.alumina, silica.magnesia and activated clay and their mixture of more than two kinds of these materials and platinum elements supported on the materials in the form of granular, honeycomb type or platy form.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
