METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JUDGING CONVERGENCE BY ESTIMATION OF TRANSFER FUNCTION OF UNKNOWN SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide a method which can judge convergence by the estimation of the transfer function of the unknown system automatically in a short time. ;CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with an arithmetic circuit 11 which finds the difference value (A₀-A₁) of time-series data of the mean value of the sum of squares of the sequentially change coefficient of an adaptive digital filter and also calculates the multiplication value D (D=(A₀-A₁).(A₁-A₂)) of the difference value and its last difference value (A₁-A₂), a sign judging circuit 12 which judges the sign of the multiplication value D obtained by the arithmetic circuit 11, a counter 13 which counts how many times the sign becomes minus, and a decision part 14 which judges that the output error converges when the counted value decreases below a certain value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
