METHOD FOR MANAGING ENTRANCE/EXIT BY APPLICATION TICKET USING CHECK THERMAL PAPER AND BICYCLE AREA MANAGING DEVICE USING THE MANAGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue an inexpensive application ticket necessary for the management of a bicycle area user and to effectively and suitably prevent the illegal use of the ticket. ;SOLUTION: After checking the payment of a prescribed amount, an application ticket such as a temporary application ticket, a commutation ticket prepared by printing out prescribed items based upon necessary characters, a bar code, etc., on check thermal paper is issued and an entrance gate 5A₁ is opened to place a bicycle or the like. In the case of receiving a bicycle or the like and exiting, a prescribed application ticket judging item on the application ticket is checked, and at the time of judging that the ticket is suitable, an exit gate 5B₁ is opened. When a shortage is generated in the amount of the ticket, adjustment processing is executed and then the gate 5B₁ is opened. Since check thermal paper is used for both of application tickets and adjustment tickets, respective tickets can be inexpensively prepared, the illegal use of a copied application ticket or a copied adjustment ticket can be suitably prevented by using the function of the check thermal paper and each ticket is also provided with a receipt function.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
