ERRONEOUS MOUNTING PREVENTION MECHANISM FOR CASSETTE MOUNTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure by erroneous mounting in mounting a magnetic tape cassette onto a magnetic tape recording and reproducing device, with a simple structure. ;SOLUTION: A slider 2 sets a cassette 1 thereon. A guide plate 3 holds pins 2a, 2b, 2c of the slider 2 corresponding to three guide grooves 3a, 3b, 3c, and guides these pins horizontally and vertically. A rack 6 is horizontally driven in parallel to the guide plate 3 and its driving force is transmitted to a driving lever 7. By the rotational driving force transmitted thereto, the driving lever 7 drives the pin 2c of the slider. The rack 6 has a protruding end portion 6a to close a vertical portion of the L-shaped guide groove 3b of the guide plate 3 on completion of mounting the cassette.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
