PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for securely and accurately cooking a living fish without requiring skillfulness. ;SOLUTION: This machine is equipped with a conveyance path 1 where a carried-in living fish 7 is turned over so that the head 7a is below the cauda fin part 7c, a head part holding part 3a which is a reception table arranged below the conveyance path 1 and has a recessed part 19 having the bottom part tapered while made open on the top surface of the reception table so that the living fish head part 7a can be fitted and a cylinder 23a opening the reception table wide enough to pass the living fish, a body part holding part 3b which is arranged above the head part holding part 3a and has a depression part for holding the body side of the living fish so that it can be disengaged and a cylinder 23b for the depression part, and a cooking part 5 which moves a needle 35 to a predetermined position above the recessed part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
