PURPOSE: To recover organic matter with low energy and at low temperature from gas containing both moisture and organic matter by making organic matter adsorbed at relatively low temperature using an adsorbent before adsorbing it at relatively high temperature and removing moisture at relatively low temperature using a moisture absorbent before regenerating the absorbent at relatively high temperature. ;CONSTITUTION: Off gas from a flow passage 1 is fed into an adsorption process region 25 of an adsorption tower 5 to adsorb organic matter at relatively low temperature. An adsorbent 4 that has adsorbed the organic matter is led to a regeneration process region 26, and purge gas 7 heated by a heater 8 is made to flow countercurrently to eliminate the organic matter and regenerate the adsorbent 4. After desorbing gas 10 containing the organic matter that has undergone value reduction and concentration is cooled, it is led to a dehumidifier 15 to adsorb moisture in the gas by a hygroscopic agent 14 and is turned into high concentration organic matter containing dry gas 17. The high concentration organic matter containing dry gas 17 is led to a low temperature liquefying device 22 to recover the organic matter as liquid recovered organic matter 23. On the other hand, the moisture absorbent 14 that has absorbed moisture enters a regeneration process region 29, and purge gas 18 that is a part of the dry gas 17 is heated and made to flow countercurrently, and the absorbed moisture is eliminated to regenerate the moisture absorbent 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
