PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved visiting nurse supporting system for performing a more efficient and smooth visiting nurse. SOLUTION: When a portable terminal 102 is connected with a server 100 through a LAN, according to the schedule of nurse schedule system 104, the server 100 down loads the nurse data of a prescribed patient to the portable terminal 102. Therefore, the patient data can be automatically stored in the portable terminal 102 without necessity for an operator to perform complicated processing such as inputting the name of patient every time. Besides, after the end of visiting nurse, new patient data registered at the destination of visit are up loaded from the portable terminal to the server 100 so that the patient data in the server 100 can be efficiently updated.
