BACKUP LINE CONNECTION/CUT SYSTEM FOR FRAME RELAY AND BACKUP COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR FRAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the processing of cut/connection in accordance with the state of an opposite station at the time of using a backup line in the backup line connection/cut system of a frame relay in constitution where a standard repeating line and the backup line are provided between exchanges. ;SOLUTION: The respective exchanges are provided with backup control parts 1 connecting the backup lines by the generation of a main cause for using the backup lines, monitoring frame transmission control parts 2 which periodically transmit backup monitoring frames provided with information displaying the presence/absence of the backup main causes of a self exchange- side through the connected backup lines and monitoring frame reception control parts 3 receiving the backup monitoring frames from an opposite party. The backup control parts 1 identify to which station the backup main cause exists between the self station or the other station and controls the cut of the backup line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
