PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for buried suture which can be inexpensively manufactured and by which suture can be easily and quickly performed without requiring an advanced suture technology and which has strong joining force and by which a scar after operation becomes inconspicuous without reqiring extraction of the stitches and extraction of the needle. SOLUTION: In a needle C for buried suture, the whole shape presents a spiral coil shape, and the tip 30 is sharply pointed. When the needle C for buried suture is installed in an elastic holding part 34 of an auxiliary tool 32 for suture, three elastic pieces 33 are picked by fingers 42 to 44, and an outside diameter is thinned, and is fitted in an inner peripheral part 31b of the needle C for buried suture, and gripping force applied to the three fingers 42 to 44 is loosened. Then, the eleastic pieces 33 are strongly brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral part 31b of the needle C for buried suture by its expansively pressing elastic force, and hold them. When suture is performed, a gripping part 35 is picked by the three fingers 42 to 44, and while pressing the tip 30 of the needle C for buried suture against a suture part, the gripping part 35 is rotated, and is screwed in up to a necessary depth.
