STRUCTURE OF ROTATING PART OF CRUSHER OR PROTECTIVE COVER OF CRUSHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust in a rotating part of a protective flange from falling to a joint part on closure thereof by projecting the inside end edge of a flange on the protective cover side from the inside edge of a flange on the flame base by a required length. ;SOLUTION: In an impact crusher, a flange 9 of a protective cover 4 is projected from the inside edge of a flange 10 on the flame base F side by a required length L. When the L is thus set, even with the protective cover 4 is opened, the tip of a flange projecting piece 9a of the protective cover 4 is in front of the inside edge of the flame base side flange 10 by an allowance α, and even when dust (c) falls from the flange 9 as shown by the arrow, it hardly falls on the upper surface of the flange 10. Since the dust is thus prevented from entering the joint surface of the rotating part of the protective cover 4 and a flame base F, the clearance of the joint surface is hardly caused, and also the rotation failure due to the joint surface and the like is hardly caused.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
