INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR WATER FEED/DISCHARGE SANITARY EQUIPMENT DESIGN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate an application drawing presented to competent authorities by analyzing data on the design drawing, dissolving and interpreting it for respective constitution elements and reconstructing it in accordance with a prescribed plotting system. ;SOLUTION: The arrangement drawing of the piping and the units of water feed/ discharge sanitary equipment is drawn on a building drawing developed on the CAD software of a client machine 2. Respective attribute information are filled and the design drawing is generated. The drawing data is transferred to a server machine 1. The server machine 1 analyzes the received water feed/discharge sanitary equipment drawing, extracts and sums up element information on piping bores by individual hierarchies, piping extension by individual types, the number of units by individual types/individual hierarchies. The element summed-up data are registered in a storage part in accordance with the water feed/discharge sanitary equipment drawing. The server machine 1 analyzes data of the design drawing, dissolves/interprets it for the respective constitution elements and reconstructs them in accordance with the prescribed plotting system. Thus, the drawing is converted into an operation drawing where the thickness and the joint form of piping are concretely expressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
