PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the sensitivity to near IR light and to improve a curing property and development resistance as well by making combination use of a cation dye-anion complex and other photopolymn. initiators. ;SOLUTION: This composition contains (a) a photopolymerizable acylic resin having a polymerizable unsatd. group, (b) an ethylenic unsatd. compd., (c) colored pigments, (d) cation dye-borate anion complex, (e) the photopolymn. initiators exclusive of the complex (d). The resin (a) is the photosetting resin contg. the polymerizable unsatd. group which may be polymerized (crosslinked) by irradiation with active rays and is brought into polymn. reaction by irradiation with light, by which the resin is made insoluble or hardly soluble in an aq. alkaline soln. or aq. acid soln. The unexposed parts are soluble in a developer. The ethylenic unsatd. compd. (b) is a compd. contg. ethylenic unsatd. double bonds in its chemical structure and is a monomer, dimer or other oligomers having the function to render the insolubility of the exposed parts by causing addition polymn. at the time the compd. is exposed by visible rays.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
