PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for securely preventing the erroneous selection of an area to be operated with a terminal equipment. ;SOLUTION: Rotary switches 6 generating area recognition code specifying installed areas are provided for respective transmission terminals 4. The terminal equipment 5 takes in the area recognition code from the rotary switch 6 when it is connected to the transmission terminal by connectors 7 and 9 and restricts screen switching for operating unit/equipment and data transmitted to a controller to the screen and data of the area. Thus, the operation of the unit/equipment in the erroneous area is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
