METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SERVING TELEPHONE SET WITH IC CARD AS PERSONAL COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate cost reduction and multipurpose utilization by inputting data by ten keys and using an IC card for an external storage device thereby using a telephone set as a personal computer, increasing needs and accelerating the standard unification of IC cards. ;SOLUTION: The IC card 3 is inserted into the main body of the telephone set 1 through an IC card insertion device 2. A storage device 6 consists of an instruction word data storage part 61 and the other storage parts 362 and rationally takes out a desired word while distinguishing first and second instruction words in the instruction word data storage part 61 from each other. Then whether the telephone set is used as a general telephone set, a personal computer communication, a personal computer or a modem is discriminated, thereby each processing is executed.
