PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a genic algorithm to the fuzzy function that decides the rice cooking volume and a heater energization pattern in a rice cooking process. SOLUTION: In a data extraction/conversion step S10, the experiment data are extracted and properly converted into the desired data based on the heating condition. In a fuzzy logic step S20, the converted data are divided into fuzzy function space areas which construct a fuzzy function and the error value of the fuzzy function is outputted after confirmation of the fuzzy function. In a fuzzy function comparison step S30, it is decided whether or not the error value of the fuzzy function is kept in a desired set range and the fuzzy function is applied to a microcomputer if the error value is kept in the set range. Then in a genic algorithm application step S40, a genie algorithm is applied and the procedure is returned to the step S20 if the error value of the fuzzy function is not kept in the set range.
