TRAINING MACHINE FOR MENTAL CALCULATION OF JAPANESE ABACUS

PURPOSE: To make the machine suitable for training mental calculation by providing a display for symbolically showing a Japanese abacus and an input device for applying an instruction related with display to this display. ;CONSTITUTION: A training machine 1 for metal calculation of Japanese abacus is constituted by connecting an input device 3 through a cable 4 to a display 2. This display 2 is a panel member for which four digits of the Japanese abacus having one piece of five-count bead, four pieces of one-count beads and a beam are symbolically shown as one line on the light transimmive acrylic panel of a bead display part 22 and a beam display part 23. The parts of beads and the beam on the bead display part 22 and the beam display part 23 can transmit light and the other range is suitably coated with coating or covered with a mask so that the state of disabling light transmission can be provided. Therefore, since the input device 3 is provided to apply the instruction related to display to the display 2, the operating beads of the Japanese abacus can be shown on the display 2, the training of mental calculation can be effectively performed, and many training persons can simultaneously perform mental calculation training.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
