PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide external facing material, external facing structure and an external facing construction method that can constitute an unconventional, new construction face while combining various performance such as the improvement of flashing and the safety of a worker demanded to building external facing material. ;SOLUTION: External facing material is oblique external facing material laid in an inclined state to the flow direction of water in an inclined roof or an exterior wall. To be concrete, oblique external facing material 3 of nearly parallelogrammic shape from the top view is formed, and an engaging part 4 formed at one side of a pair of lateral opposite sides of this parallelogram, that is, at one end 32 of a nearly flat part 31, is formed by bending one end part 32 of the nearly flat part 31 onto the back face side of the external facing material 3. A gutter part 5 formed at the other end of the nearly flat part 31 is formed of a hanging part formed by turning down the other end part 33 of the nearly flat part 31, a bottom part bent outward from the hanging part, and a rising part rising from the bottom part.
