PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation spacer excellent in dielectric withstand volt age and having an anti-HF(hydrogen fluoride) property by introducing such an arrangement that the content of a filler differs in the direction across the spacer thickness. ;SOLUTION: An insulation spacer 3 supports a high voltage conductor 2 installed in a vessel which is filled with an insulation gas. The spacer 3 is made of a base resin consisting of epoxy resin, acid anhydride, and a hardening accelerator, to which a filler is added, followed by agitation on a vacuum at a certain temp. so that a resin composition for molding is prepared, and this is injected into a die and subjected to a hardening process with heat. At this time, the content of the filler is distributed as differing in the direction across the thickness of the spacer, wherein the content 2mm deep from the spacer surface should be below 20vol.%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
