METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SENSING COIL DIMENSION OF METALLIC-PLATE WINDER, AND CONTROLLING METHOD AND DEVICE OF THE METALLIC-PLATE WINDER

PURPOSE: To hold the gap between one turn of a wound metallic plate and the next one turn constant, even when the speed of the wound metallic plate becomes owing to the difference between its inner and outer circumferential lengths. ;CONSTITUTION: The speed and movement quantity of a winding-in belt 18 are sensed by a pulse generator 28, and the one rotation of a winding shaft 17 is sensed by a proximity switch 30. The length of the one turn of a metallic plate wound by the winding shaft 17 is sensed using the sensed movement quantity by the pulse generator 28, and the outer diameter of the wound metallic plate is computed from the division of this length by π. From this outer diameter, by a predetermined formula, the speed of a feed roller 10a for feeding the next one turn of the wound metallic plate is corrected, and thereby, such a control that a constant gap is formed always between the respective adjacent turns of the wound metallic plate is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
