PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide air conditioning that suits a driver's preference and differs from passenger seat air conditioning, even while thermal conditions at the driver's seat greatly differ from those at the passenger seats. ;SOLUTION: A branch duct 14 branches off from a passenger seat duct connected to a main air conditioning unit, and is connected to the first air inlet 16c of a driver's seat blower unit 16. The blower unit is provided with second and third air inlets 16d, 16e through which air inside and outside the vehicle is introduced into the blower unit. A driver's seat air conditioning unit 17 connected to the vent 16a of the blower unit adjusts the temperature of air blown out of the blower unit, and the air is blown to or around the driver's seat via a driver's seat duct 18. A controller 47 controls the blower unit and the driver's seat air conditioning unit in accordance with detection outputs of a solar radiation sensor 36, an outside air temperature sensor 37, and a driver's seat temperature sensor 38.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
