PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce information access time by providing an identifier to information on request, distributing the resulting information and allowing a reception terminal equipment to selectively receive the received information based on the identifier so as to improve the distribution efficiency and the capability of the terminal equipment. SOLUTION: Frames of data D1, D2 of a 1st layer are distributed to all satellite signal reception terminal equipments 3A to 3N from an information center 1 through a satellite. The reception terminal equipments 3A to 3N select desired data among the data D1, D2 of the 1st layer. The reception terminal equipment 3A requests low- order data D21 of the data D2 to the information center 1 through a ground channel network 4. The information center 1 accepts the request and distributes the low-order data D21 via the satellite. In this case, a layer dependent identifier d21 of the data D21 is added to a header of a frame received by the reception terminal equipment 3A. Since the reception terminal equipment 3A knows the layer dependent identifier of the low-order data of the data D2, the reception terminal equipment 3A recognizes the layer dependent identifier d21 in the frame received by the satellite channel to receive the data D21.
