EARTHQUAKE REPORTING SYSTEM IN INSTITUTION OF TALL BUILDING OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit information of earthquake occurrence and also to prevent erroneous refuge and the occurrence of a panic by connecting a telephone terminal to an institution managing system. ;SOLUTION: When one wants to know seismic intensity or a refuge method from a terminal 3b connected to PBX 3 by which a telephone call is exchanged inside the institution, a call is originated from the terminal 3b so as to execute dialling so that PBX 3 identifies the position of the terminal 3b by an area identifying means 3a. Information expressing the identified area is reported to a connecting device 2 and also the call of the terminal 3b is connected to the device 2. In the device 2, a voice reponse device 2a responds to the terminal 3b, takes out information of a message corresponding to conditions within the messages which are previously stored in a message storing part 2b based on information expressing an earthquake degree received from an institution managing system 1 and information expressing the area, converts it into voice and transmits it to the terminal 3b. With this voice message, the earthquake degree is reported and, moreover, the refuge method is informed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
