BOLT AND BOLT BOX RUSTPROOF AND CORROSION PROOF METHOD IN SHIELD TUNNELING METHOD

PURPOSE: To surely achieve rustproofing and corrosion proofing for a bolt and a bolt box in a shield tunneling method. ;CONSTITUTION: Water-soluble solventless epoxy resin 5 is applied to a fitting bolt 2 to a segment of a shield tunnel and a steel part of a bolt box 4, and further the space of the bolt box 4 is filled with cement mortar 3. A rustproofing and corrosion proofing effect to the bolt 2 and the steel part of the bolt box 4 can be exhibited and at the same time, the adhesion effect of mortar 3 is exhibited. Furthermore, a small quantity of epoxy resin and inexpensive mortar are combined rationally, and even if the tunnel is in the wet condition due to water leakage and dew condensation, rustproofing and corrosion proofing execution can be done, and the amount of epoxy resin 5 used can be held down to the minimum. Further, the synergistic effect of rustproofing and corrosion proofing can be exhibited by cement mortar protection, and the need of using fire such as a gas burner or the like can be eliminated by using water-soluble solventless epoxy resin, so that an oxygen deficiency poisoning accident can be prevented and work can be safely conducted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
