PURPOSE: To provide a solid lubricating film forming device for a ball bearing and its forming method, which is a simple device, whose productivity is comparatively good, and by which uniform film thickness can be formed, and also in which the sticking force of a film can be strengthened. ;CONSTITUTION: When solid lubricating films are formed on surfaces of rolling balls rolled between an inner ring and an outer ring, a spiral raceway groove 21 is arranged on a surface to which a fixed circular plate 2 and a rotary circular plate 4 respectively consisting of a solid lubricating material are mutually opposed, the rolling balls 3 and auxiliary balls 31 having diameters smaller than that of the rolling balls 3 are alternately supplied to the raceway groove 21 so as to rotate the rotary circular plate 4, so that the rolling balls 3 are rolled from one end of the raceway groove 21 to the other end thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
