PARKING TICKET LOSS COUNTERMEASURE SYSTEM USING DRIVING LICENSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a lost parking ticket based on only the driving license number or the driver name and to omit the sue of TV and video cameras, by reading the driving license when the entering of the vehicle is accepted at a parking lot. ;SOLUTION: When a driving license 25 is put into a parking ticket issue machine 11 placed at a vehicle entering berth 26 by a person in a vehicle 8 or a person in charge of a parking lot, the machine 11 reads the license number, the driver name, etc., and issues a parking ticket 9. When the ticket 9 is drawn out of the machine 11 by the crew member or the person in charge, the number of the machine 11 and the information on the license 25 are outputted to a data management part 5a together with the information on the ticket 9, i.e., the date of issue and the number of the ticket 9. If the ticket 9 is lost, the rough issue time of the ticket 9 or the number of the vehicle 8 are inputted as the retrieval key data 19 at a data retrieval part 5c via a retrieval terminal 6.
