PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve high output, perform an accurate control, and prevent ripples from occurring after three-phase bridge rectification by using a three-phase inverter, whose waveform is modified for output control to create a high-voltage high-power stabilized DC power supply by performing bridge rectification of a three-phase power supply. ;SOLUTION: Output which passed through a three-phase inverter 2 represents the forms of a pulse train 9 and an output pulse width is modulated by a built-in waveform generator 3. The pulse train 9 passes through a filter 4 again and a waveform-modulated sinusoidal wave 10 is obtained. The waveform-modulated sinusoidal wave 10 is boosted or regulated to a desired voltage through a three- phase transformer 5, is rectified by a three-phase bridge rectifier 6, and is outputted to a DC 8 without ripples by an output voltage. An output controller 87 detects an output voltage and a current that are outputted from the three- phase bridge rectifier 6, thus obtaining an overall stable DC while controlling the three-phase inverter 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
