SHELL LINER, SHELL BODY, ROD MILL AND USE OF ROD MILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the supply and charge of raw stones into a shell body and the discharge of broken stones and to reduce the attaching/replacing number of times of a shell lifter in a shell liner by providing the attaching part of the shell liner to the almost center in the lateral direction right-angled to the longitudinal direction of the shell lifter. ;SOLUTION: A shell body 1 is an intermediate cylindrical body having a truncated cone shape of which the diameter on the side of the supply port 11 thereof is made larger than that on the side of the discharge port 12 thereof. A shell liner 2 has a shell liner main body and a shell lifter. In such a case that the shell liner 2 is attached to the inner wall 13 of a shell body 1, a rod 17 is housed in the shell body 1 and the shell main body 1 is reversibly revolved in a rotary direction and the raw stones 61 housed in a hopper are sent to a stone supply device and supplied into the shell body 1 along with water from the stone supply device. The raw stones 61 are crushed between the rod 17 and the shell liner 2 to form broken stones 62 which are, in turn, discharged from a discharge port 12 to be classified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
