PREVENTIVE DEVICE FOR SNAKE CLIMBING UP UTILITY POLE, TREE, PYLON OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE: To prevent the damage due to snakes by seizing them climbing up utility poles etc. ;CONSTITUTION: This preventive device stands equipped with a binding ring 1 wrappedly fixed on the surface of a utility pole, tree, pylon, etc., a trapping net 2 to seize snakes with its upper end connected to the ring 1 and the stitches serving to seize snakes intending to pass through, and an expanding ring 3 to expand and widen the lower end of the net 2 by separating its lower edge from the surface of e.g. the utility pole. Snakes climbing up e.g. the utility pole are brought to a status of being impassable through the stitches when they intend to pass therethrough, thus being seized. With this simple device, snakes can be assuredly seized, preventing e.g. shortcircuiting accidents due to such snakes, significantly reducing the cost for discovering accident sites and preventing such accidents; besides, this device does not hamper a relevant worker's climbing up e.g. a utility pole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
