PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop cleaning action along with strong kneading action by providing a slight gap between the generally crescent-shaped paddle of one auxiliary shaft and the generally crescent-shaped paddle of other auxiliary shaft. ;SOLUTION: When a substance to be treated is charged in a cylindrical container 1 from an opening 2 and an electromotor is started, a gear housing 13 also revolves simultaneously with a main shaft 9. A gear 17 is rotated on its own axis while revolved around a large gear 8 and the auxiliary shaft 15 integrated therewith is rotated and a generally crescent-shaped paddle 19 rotates in the same direction. The substance to be treated within the cylindrical container 1 is stirred and kneaded by the rotation of the generally crescent-shaped paddle 19. Since the generally crescent-shaped paddles 19 respectively fixed to two auxiliary shafts 15 are rotated so as to hold a slight gap therebetween, shearing force and a violent flow behavior are applied to the substance to be treated and, especially, the dispersing action of a highly viscous substance is applied.
