PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching structure of yarn breakage sensor capable of adopting also to spinning machinery incapable of ensuring a space on a ring rail by difference of ring diameter, ring shape, etc., and obtaining good yarn breakage detection sensitivity. ;SOLUTION: A yarn breakage sensor 3 for arranging a detection part 3a in a state opposed to a ring 2 while sandwiching traveling pathway of a traveler 20 is attached through a spacer 21 in the rear part 1a of a ring rail 1 whose cross section form is formed in a crank shape. The yarn breakage sensor 3 is integrally equipped with two detection parts 3a at both ends. The ring rail 1 and the spacer 21 are made of a magnetic material. A magnetic circuit 22 is formed so as to pass through only the interior of magnetic substance excepting for air gap between the detection part 3a and the ring 2 by magnetizing action of permanent magnet built in the detection part 3a to minimize magnetic resistance. Consequently, voltage having high output level is induced when the traveler 20 is crossed through the magnetic circuit 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
