PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the embroidering work to proceed in parallel with other works, by catching the time needed for embroidering the patterns for each yarn color. ;SOLUTION: In the external store memory capable of installing on the sewing machine, are stored the pattern display data and embroidering data previously. According to the pattern display data of the external store memory installed on the sewing machine, the embroidering patterns are displayed on the display panel so that an embroidering pattern may be selected. The time needed for sewing the selected embroidering pattern is calculated on the basis of the embroidering data stored on the external store memory and displayed beneath the embroidering pattern in each color, in the case that the embroidering pattern are displayed and selected and the sewing time key is pressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
