MANUFACTURE OF SINGLE STONE ENGRAVED GRAVESTONE, AND SINGLE STONE ENGRAVED GRAVESTONE THEREBY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gravestone cut from one stone, and a single stone engraved gravestone free from the fear of breakage by an earthquake obtained according to this method. ;SOLUTION: By use of one stone having a volume of the whole gravestone, a circular part is first inscribed to the orthogonal part between the horizontal stepped part 2 and vertical stepped part 3 of a gravestone designed dimension to drill a round hole 4 deeply in the thickness direction, and the horizontal stepped part 2 of the gravestone is then excavated to the tangent of the round hole 4. The vertical stepped part 3 is then cut from the upper part to the lower part so as to successively reach the tangent of the round hole 4, and fine decoration of the whole gravestone and characters are finally cut.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
