WATER-CONTROLLING SYSTEM FOR RICE PADDIES ON INCLINED LAND

PURPOSE: To enable easy irrigation at a certain water level in each rice plant paddy on the inclined land. ;CONSTITUTION: A water-level regulator 30 is installed at the levee 12 on the upper side in each rice paddy 11 which is arranged stepwise along an inclined land. To the uppermost water level regulator 30, water is supplied from the reservoir 16 until the water reaches a prescribed level in the uppermost paddy 11. This level regulator 30 is linked to the pipe 14 buried in the ground of the uppermost paddy 11 and discharge the excessive water to the buried pipe 14, after the water attains the prescribed level. Another water level regulator 30 is also connected to the downstream end of the buried pipe 14 and the water fed to the buried pipe 14 is supplied to the subjacent rice paddy 11 until the subjacent paddy 11 is filled with water at a certain level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
