TEA POWDER SEPARATION APPARATUS OF SECONDARY ROLLING AND DRYING MACHINE FOR TEA PROCESSING

PURPOSE: To obtain a tea powder separation apparatus of a secondary rolling and drying machine requiring small installation area and having improved separation performance of fine tea powder by supplying hot air to an end of a rotary drum and connecting a plurality of cyclones to the exhaustion port of a fan attached to the other end of the drum. ;CONSTITUTION: For example, tea leaves delivered from a rolling stage are charged to an end of a rotary drum 1 through a charging chute 2 and subjected to rolling and drying action with hot air supplied from a hot air generator 3. The other end of the rotary drum 1 is connected to an exhaustion fan 4. Hot air passed through the rotary drum 1 is sucked by the exhaustion fan 4 together with tea powder and blown into cyclones 5, 6. The exhaust gas forms gyrating stream in the cyclones 5, 6 and the tea powder is passed through recovery pipes 7, 8 and dropped into a transportation machine 9. The exhaust gas free from tea powder is passed through exhaustion pipes 10, 11 and discharged upward.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
