PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computation method that analyzes the header strength of a pressure vessel with high accuracy in a short time and provide a method that judges immediately whether or not the design is proper from the computation results of this strength. ;SOLUTION: This invention relates to a header strength computation method of a pressure vessel which computes the strength of a header in a pressure vessel which is provided with headers 2 which connects a plurality of heat transfer tubes 1 laid out in rows where each of the heat transfer tubes 1 is regarded as flat plates O, A and B and covers a header strength judging method of the pressure vessel that compares the results of the header strength computation method of the pressure vessel with a predetermined stress value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
