PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overshoot to a brake pressure by raising stepwise a stroke bias of a master cylinder impressing the brake pressure to a brake. ;SOLUTION: For instance, when a control circuit is a brake pressure- controlling circuit, a setting device 1 sets a hydraulic pressure impressed to a test brake 14 from a master cylinder 16. A deviation of an output of the setting device 1 from an output of an amplifier 22 is obtained by a first deviation detector 5, which is amplified by a hydraulic amplifier 8. A processing part 24 and a stroke bias circuit 25 generate a stroke bias rising stepwise in response to an output of a function generator 2, so that the brake pressure impressed to the test brake 14 from the master cylinder 16 is controlled to be a set value. Accordingly, no overshoot is brought about to the brake pressure even when the master cylinder 16 is driven fast. A quick and stable control is carried out as a whole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
