METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SCREENING DURING PREGNANCY PERIOD FOR ABNORMALITY OF PREGNANCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screening gestational abnormality in a gestation period, and a device to perform this method. SOLUTION: In this method, a sample of body fluids of the mother's body from a pregnant woman is measured on a level of at least a single marker and/or a precursor of this marker or a metabolite. The method contains to compare a measured level of this marker with a reference value of a level of the marker in various gestational ages of (a) a pregnant woman who conceives (plural) abnormal embryos who receive screening and/or (b) a pregnant woman who conceives a normal embryo together with a gestational age of the woman. This comparison shows a level of significance at which the pregnant woman conceives an abnormal embryo who receives screening. The marker is an inhibin dimer.
