NEGATIVE FRICTION PREVENTING STRUCTURE IN BURIED PILE

PURPOSE: To reduce negative friction at the time of subsidence of ground and increase resisting force against the loaded load. ;CONSTITUTION: A tape-like covering material 12 is spirally wound round the outer periphery of a hollow cylindrical pile 10 and fixed thereon. As a winding method for the covering material 12, an enlarged part having a wedge-type section is taken as the lower part side and the material is spirally wound round the outer periphery of a pile 10 while overlapping is avoided to be inclined and form a section where wedge-type stepped parts are continuous on the lower part side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
