PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position a paper tube, convey automatically to a paper tube holding bar so as to be supported, by moving a moving frame along the frame, arranging a clamp hand support arm in the moving frame, and setting up a clamp hand clamping the paper tube in a tip end part of the clamp hand support arm. ;SOLUTION: A paper tube (a) is clamped by a clamp hand 61, by moving a moving base 56, when the paper tube (a) is moved to an insertion position to a paper tube holding bar 5 provided in vertical two shafts, the moving base 56 is stopped. Thereafter, a slide base is moved, the paper the (a) left as it is, is horizontally moved to be inserted to the paper tube holding bar 5, when the paper tube (a) is inserted to a prescribed position in the holding bar 5, the slide base is stopped, also a holding member of the clamp hand 61 and a press attach member are mutually opened, to be unclamped, the paper tube (a) is set to the paper tube holding bar 5. An auxiliary band 62 is moved to a tip end part contact position of the paper tube holding bar 5 by the moving base 56, a lower side surface of the paper tube (a) during insertion in the holding bar is supported.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
