PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a television receiver of each house to make automatic dialing by utilizing a representative telephone number of a reply server corresponding to its subscriber area. ;SOLUTION: An access point telephone number group (subscriber telephone number list) is stored in a nonvolatile memory in the interior of each TV receiver 11 and plural representative telephone numbers of reply servers 15 belonging to a subscriber area of the TV 11 are described in the access point telephone number group. Thus, the TV 11 of each house uses the representative telephone number of the reply server 15 corresponding to the subscriber area to make automatic dialing. Thus, reply data are collected efficiently for each area by the reply servers 15 arranged distributingly and concentration of traffic onto a specific reply server is relaxed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
