PRODUCTION OF BUILDING MATERIAL BY UTILIZING WASTE PET BOTTLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reutilize a waste PET bottle as building material. SOLUTION: Building material is produced by pulverizing a waste PET bottle into a pellet shape and adding polyethylene terephthalate resin, a fire retardant and a filler respectively to the pulverized particles and mixing them and melting the mixture and performing injection molding processing. The produced building material is comparatively lightweight and both heat resistance and heat retaining properties are excellent. Since the building material has comparatively a high strength, while it is can be cut, the waste PET bottle is optimally used as building material.
