PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for filling a gap between a problem analysis process and a system design process, for clearly mentioning a relation between respective specifications and software products and for preseving and managing a system developing process in the system developing process. ;SOLUTION: A system developing process management system 10 includes an input part 12 receiving a specification which is made into details stepwise against a process obtained by dividing the system developing process, an analysis part 14 analyzing the specification and extracting substances mentioned in the specification and a relation between the substances and a specification storage part 18 storing the substances and the relation as specification information. The analysis part 14 of the system developing process management system 10 includes a means for receiving the sentence on the specification and decomposing the sentence into a wording and the substance, a means for giving an attribute name to the substance based on the wording, and a storage processing means storing the substance corresponding to the attribute name in the specification storage part 18 as an attribute value with the attribute name as specification information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
