PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calling a passenger inside a train for automatically, promptly and surely calling the passenger inside the train from a ground general caller and performing communication. ;SOLUTION: One of a call and a message from the telephone set 1 or personal computer 11 of a general caller terminal is selected through a switching device 13 and housed in a general caller exchange 2. Also, the message of the personal computer 11 is digital 7 analog data modulated or demodulated inversely through a modem 12 and housed in the general caller exchange 2. An application request for calling the passenger inside the train from the personal computer 11 is automatically received by a reception device 14. Then, the request is discriminated in a train radio data device 15 and simultaneously transmitted to the respective trains from an LCX device 5 through an LCX. A connection request transmitted from a calling destination train is transferred through a train radio voice equipment 4 to the reception device 14 and the telephone set 1 is called through the general caller exchange 2 and connected with a train side exclusive terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
