SYSTEM FOR RETRIEVING DATA INFORMATION USING CLASSIFICATION NUMBER RELATING FILE

摘要

PURPOSE: To improve a data information retrieving system in a library by noticing a fact that a classification number is effective for specifying a data field and also has a hierarcy structure. ;CONSTITUTION: By replacing an inputted retrieval key with the classification number, information in the neighborhood of the inputted retrieval key or the high-order and low-order level of the inputted retrieval key is referred to so as to execute more proper retrieval. Information corresponding to the retrieval key inputted from an input device 11 is extracted from a data storage part 13 by a data processing part 12 and its result is displayed in a display device 14. The classification number is easily retrieved without knowing the rule of the classification number. The retrieval is executed without relying on the key inputted by a retriever. When only one retrieval key is inputted, the retrieval key similar to it is displayed including the high-order and low-order levels.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
