DISPLAY DEVICE FOR NEWS AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION

PURPOSE: To attain visually modulated display and to improve the identity of displayed contents by displaying news and financial information items by a specific color in each category. CONSTITUTION: A news selecting part 4 selects news coincident with a news item in an item table 5 and a financial information selecting part 9 selects financial information coincident with a financial information item in an item table 11. A news VRAM 6 temporarily stores these selected news and a news display part 7A displays the selected news. A data display part 10 displays the financial information selected by the selecting part 9 and an item display part 12A displays the financial item specified by the table 11. A news category discriminating means 20 and a color information registering table 21 are connected between the VRAM 6 and the display part 7A and an item category discriminating means 22 and a color information registering table 23 are connected between the table 11 and the display part 12A to display a color corresponding to each category.
